Alan’s Interest in working with wood started at an early age, watching and assisting his father with construction projects around the family home. His father, skilled in carpentry, taught Alan the skills needed to use hand tools and lay out projects.
Later, construction projects in his own home turned to new interests in the finer details of woodworking and some early pieces of furniture. Years later, Alan's joy of working with wood is still alive as he creates beautiful laminated wood landing nets and fine cutting/serving boards.
Alan has combined his lifelong passion for fly fishing with his woodworking by designing and building handcrafted landing nets and accessories for discerning fly fishers. Alan’s nets are used by fly fishers across North America.
We offer a wide variety of handcrafted landing nets made of beautiful hardwoods to suit the needs of any fly fishing enthusiast. Net frames are available with a traditional oil finish or an extremely durable, water resisitant epoxy/urethane finish. Available with soft nylon catch and release mesh or rubber net bags.

We are makers of fine cutting and serving boards. Handcrafted from select eastern hardwoods. Painstaking assembled and finished for your dinner gatherings or everyday use.
In addition to our fine wood landing nets, we also offer hand-tied Atlantic Salmon hair wing flies.
The nets are rotated throughout the epoxy and urethane finishing process in order to prevent dribbles and runs in the finish.
Our New Wave Shark 120 CNC with laser engraver personalizes our nets for you and adds our logo.
After removing the net frame from the form, our Performax 25" drum sander flattens each side of the net frame.
